Wow!
Realisation - The fact that April was the last and only time that I have posted!! My my so much has happened since then! 'The Towering Boards' being the title of my last post was because of a mid night panic at the thought of seeing the Degree Show boards starting to make an appearance! Can't even remember what stage I was at in the process of completing my work :s haha sooooo starting again from fresh I can say that I am.........Excited!!!! Excitement because I am done!! A few months ago I could not see how I would be here now but I've done it!
Textile Design Degree!! DONE! :D
For the first time I am excited about what I am able to do after University! I am excited to continue with my work and my designs, experiment further with my techniques and even get a few garments and accessories made up to sell on! YAY!!

The Towering Boards!!
'The towering boards' are the gigantic design boards that are continuously catching my eye, everyday at uni they are a reminder that I am a 3rd year textile student and in a months time those boards will be positioned around the studio in preparation for mine and my fellow textile girlie's Degree Show!!! OMG!! So scary!! On the computers at uni and decide to go on facebook ..... see design boards, thinking of going home instead of staying and doing more work..... see design boardssss haha haunting they are, but blooming good for scaring me and pushing me on to just DO IT!! just has to be done!
So not long now till I finish uni after 4 years, been one looonngg journey and I'm not sure how I'm going to feel by the end of it? at the moment its all very much a blur and days seem to merge into one, with one thing on my mind and that's to finish! just finish university!! do the best I can with the support and love of my friends, my boyfriend and my family and worry about the what's and where's after when it's happening! I'm very much living for the moment! and for me at this moment in time I have to work my socks off to make myself and those who have supported me throughout university proud! for the next few weeks my mind will be set on getting all my work completed for the show! There are many many things I would rather be doing and other thorts that get my mind drifting, excitement of being home and being with my family and starting life with my man holidays, adventures travelling, haha but no for now selfish me kicks in and its work mode galore!
So this is my first blog, Iv'e tried other forms of online "diaries" but never been able to stick to them, facebook seems to be the only form of updating my whereabouts and thorts regularly! The concept of having a blog for my work however seems to help clear my mind and refresh about what I have to get done! Work is always on the brain hence why I am writing this at 3am on a Sunday morning! offloading and writing down whats whirling through my brain helps me get some clarity. I hope to get a running documentary of my days activities, they may be very repetitive at the start because I seem to be doing a lot of the same in uni at the moment, the last two weeks have cosisted of early starts into uni and on the computers using photoshop for my designs, eyes completely boggled by the end of the day. but I do hope to keep things varied and that those who read my blog enjoy it i shall upload my work in progress soon!
